James Parsons - London Based Photographer + Videographer

Hey - I’m James (or JP if I want to sound cooler), a London-based international photographer & videographer.

I’ve worked with global brands creating both in-the-moment photo and video content, and leading a team to deliver creative briefs for marketing and PR campaigns.

I’ve recently been capturing top-flight sports content for Ferrari F1, Puma, Nike, Emirates, and England Rugby.

Happiest moment:

  • Handing in my notice at my job in The City to pursue photography full-time. It’s been a wild ride since.

What’s my edge?:

  • I think that having played high-level sports has helped me understand the genuine experience of sports stars, allowing me to pick up on the smaller, more captivating moments to capture.

Why am I always running?

  • Often, we need to be in three places at once. If running gives us a better shot, I'll move like the flash.

My weekends look like this:

  • Creating YouTube videos about the Art and business of photography. Currently, there are 13000 of us.

Guilty pleasure:

  • Snowy Enrobed Oreos. Basically, white chocolate-covered Oreos.

  • Marcus Aurelius, Naval Ravikant, + Chris Williamson (and video guy Dean).
